The handles included with the Marcy Cast Iron Dumbbell Weight Set have knurled grips. The knurling adds extra grips to your workout to prevent the dumbbells from slipping out of your hands.

40lb dumbbell set with case
Made well, as only Marcy can do. The look of the weights have changed, but the dumbbells remain the same which is a plus. Although they are imported they fit the bill.

Great buy.
I bought this set not too long ago and it's fantastic. Made from really good quality metals, and the handles are well grooved for a firm grip. Perfect standard size so that any standard weight plate can fit. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has just started out working out or who just wants to add to their collection. The carrying case is a decent quality, the only downside I would say is that if you add more plates you don't have room for them in the case. But I have no complaints about this equipment, if I didn't already have a set I would buy another one. I might even get one as a gift for a friend.

Excellent weight set for home workouts
Great set of weights. I have had Marcy weights and workout equipment in the past and knew I would get a good product. They are obviously well made. I dig the finish and they are the correct weight. I like the carrying case for storage. Spin locks are convenient. The only thing I will say is that the handles are rough. So if you think that the rough metal bars would bother you, just get yourself a set of rubber hand grips or a good pair of gloves. Thanks to Marcy for the email notification when you restocked. Iron 40lb adjustable dumbbell set
They are exactly what you see in the picture. They are really nice, they look good, easy to use, bar feels good in your hand and they are sturdy and the star locks the the weights nice and tight. Totally worth the money.
