Dual Upper Pulley Cables and Lower Cable
The MD-9010G has a pulley system that works with a lower pulley and dual upper pulleys. Simply load weight plates (sold separately) on the pulley trolley to complete cable crossovers, kneeling lat pulldowns, and more.
Adjustable Bench Back and Seat Pad
The Marcy Smith Machine Home Gym MD-9010G has an adjustable back pad and seat pad for your comfort. The back pad adjustment angle ranges from -13 degrees to 81 Degrees.

Use the MD-9010G as a Rack - Squats
The MD-9010G Smith Machine Home Gym can be used as a rack by placing the included bar catches and safety catches at the front of the unit and using an Olympic bar (sold separately.) Squats are great for targeting your quadriceps and glutes.
Preacher Curl Pad / Curl Handle and Leg Developer
The MD-9010G Smith Machine Home Gym includes a preacher curl pad and a curl handle. Add plates to the developer and use the curl pad and curl handle for preacher curls, which target your biceps. Load the leg developer with weight plates to perform leg curls and leg extensions. Leg extensions target your leg muscles, and mostly target your quadriceps.
Incline Bench Press with Smith Bar
The smith machine portion of the MD-9010G can be used for squats or can be used with the bench for presses. The smith bar allows you to safely lift without a spotter. Use the bench at an incline with the smith bar for incline bench presses

Awesome Overall Product
I am extremely pleased with the Marcy Pro Smith Machine. The versatility allows for a full body workout. The assembly time was about 9 hours total with the bench. I recommend leaving all bolts loose until each part is assembled otherwise some parts may not align correctly. All in all, a good product and great value.

Great system
This system is amazing! Love all the exercises that’s included. It took 8hrs to put together by myself. One item that’s difficult to use at 5’4 is the leg extension/curl, I wish this could be adjustable.

Love this thing.
I bought this thinking I could perform all my favorite exercises that I used to do at the gym, and I was right. I love this machine and so does my teenage boy. Super easy to put together. I highly recommend this system to anyone.

Cage system
My husband and I got this for our son for Christmas. It was delivered on time, and was a smooth process setting up. The directions walked you through step by step. Very impressed The quality is excellent and our son loves it

MD-9010G
Overall a quality product! Highly recommend. Was pleasantly surprised how quickly it shipped. Delivery, however, was another story. But that's on the trucking company, not Marcy. It all worked out. As others have said, assembly takes a while and some steps will require two people. There's a YT video that may be helpful. READ all the instructions FIRST, lay out your parts and hardware in an organized fashion, you'll be fine. Overall construction quality is the main reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I had to sand down some welding slag inside the sleeve to get the bar to go through for the Smith Cage. Didn't expect that at this price point. A couple other quick observations after a week of use: For me, the bench is overkill. Very heavy and complex for what it is. I thought I would like the lumbar support for my bad back, but I'm finding it obtrusive. The C clips for attaching the accessories are slow and cumbersome. I'll get some heavy duty carabiners to replace. Pretty satisfied and look forward to many years of use.

After a ton of research I settled on the 9010 and it did not disappoint. I was worried about putting it together because of the other reviews but it wasnt a problem at all. It took some time probably 8-10 hours but I spread it over 3 days. Ive used it for several weeks and its everything I could have hoped for.

Very satisfied with the home gym
Like other reviewers have mentioned, the home gym is an awesome piece of machine. Everything that I generally do at the gym I do at home now. Love it.. My only issue is that Marcy could do a better job with the labeling of the parts. The workout bench will tip over if you exceed a certain amount of weight on it. It is cool to work out your arms, but if you want to add significant weight for your legs it will tip over because it will create a top heavy situation. I have to put weight on the back legs to keep it down to be able to add 3 45 lbs plates. I dont think it will accommodate much more than that. I saw another reviewer saying they came up one nut short, that was the same situation for me but a trip to home depot fixed that as well. I still give it a five star because I am happy with everything this machine bring. I now workout early morning, afternoon or night based on my schedule. Love the home gym and would make that decision again and again.
